I just let the voices in my head run amok across the page.

Don't let the scale fool you here. Visgaerd is a pretty big country. But there is a much larger world beyond its borders. And the Vale is an enticing lure to any who have traveled near.

This was drawn by the incredibly talented Joshua Hoskins (hoskins_cartography on IG)
This was my original Inkarnate map of my world, on which Mr. Hoskins based the previous map.
Toritol is the capitol city of Visgaerd, and like the Vale and the country, nearly round. It is the bustling hub of commerce and character.

Also drawn with Inkarnate.
The first world I created, and I could probably dig up my old sketch book, where I originally drew this one out in pencil. It wasn't pretty. I recently started reworking this series, and plan to release the first book in the first half of next year. So I took the time to redraw the map in Inkarnate.
One of my favorite things about writing fantasy, is that I also get to be a cartographer.
